What Peace Really Means in a Troubled World

Scripture: John 14:27

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you…”

Biblical peace is not the absence of problems. It is the presence of God in the middle of them.

The world defines peace as quiet circumstances. Jesus defines peace as a settled heart.

You can have:

Bills and still have peace

Uncertainty and still have peace

Delays and still have peace

Peace is not external control. It is internal surrender.

Practical Step

Pause today and ask:

“Where have I been chasing control instead of peace?”

Prayer

Lord, teach me the difference between worldly calm and Your peace. Settle my heart even if my circumstances remain unsettled. Amen.
